Dr. Ademola Moshood Raji, is currently the Ag. Provost, Federal College of Land Resources Technology, Kuru near Vom, Jos South of Plateau State. He served as Director Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan, Nigeria.

He was previously the Pioneer Federal Director of the Animal Husbandry department of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Abuja.

Dr. Raji joined the services of the Institutes of Agricultural Research and Training (I.A.R&T) as a Junior Research Fellow in September 1989.

He obtained his B. Sc (Animal Science) degree in 1988 and M. Sc (Agricultural Biochemistry and Nutrition) in 1992 both from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He took up a fresh appointment in the College on 8th of May 1992 as an Assistant Tutor I and was converted to Lecturer III in 1993.

He bagged his PhD degree in Animal Nutrition from the University of Ibadan in November 1997. He became a Chief Lecturer/Director in October 2007 before his appointment as the Provost/Chief Executive Officer of the College. He coordinates all academic and administrative activities in the College from time to time.

He was directly responsible to the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Development through the Executive Secretary, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria while he was the Provost of the College. Between January 2007 and August 2008, he was a Research Scholar at the University of Florida, United States of America.

He conducted a comprehensive laboratory evaluation of various Nigerian native medicinal plants for possible use in Animal Nutrition and Health, a member of various Professional Bodies both in Nigeria, USA, and Canada.

He was the National Secretary of the Committee of Provosts of Federal College of Agriculture and Related Discipline known as NARCHARD and COFHCARD between 2010 and 2014. He also served as FAO National coordinator for Animal Genetic Resources (AnGR) Nigeria, from 2014 to 2017.

He is currently a chief Lecturer in Animal Science and the Director, Entrepreneurship Development Centre and the coordinator of the College Dairy farm at the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan.
